Oh, i love sea days!

Yeah, mine was starting to get antsy.. but I just drank another Pina Colada and ignored him Big Smile

I could but my DH can't do that many sea days in a row...yet.Wink

Our last cruise was 5 days until we got to port, and it was slow going. But the slow speed made it smooth and hot, just like i wanted. Once we hit the 1st port it seemed to fly by, even with the speed situation. I think I could take one of those cruises to nowhere and be happy.

Try doing 11 straight days at sea.

---Not to mention my sometimes twice daily hot tubs and the wonderful service from the ships pool bar.

Couldve sworn I saw you amongst that unruly crowd demanding refunds//sure you got the counts of missed ports and sea days right?, all things considered heheheheheh....wish more folks had that kind of attitude...

I think the older we get the more we like sea days. Our longest was nine consecutive sea days on the Atlantic, which was suppose to be eight sea days from the Vera Islands to Barbados but enroute to the Vera Islands from the Canaries a lady broke her ankle, which caused us to miss the Vera Island ending up giving us another sea day. About one year ago we were on a 22 day cruise, FLL to Honolulu, when we missed three ports. Two due to hurricanes and one due to political unrest. We got three additional sea days as a result, plus, at one port, late in the voyage, where we were scheduled to be for only one day, we got an overnight which also included another day there. For the additional day in that port the cruise line had arranged a full complement of excellent shore excursions, to choose from. Great cruise though, our total consecutive sea days then was eight days. I saw more flying fish that voyage than I've seen in years.----Not to mention my sometimes twice daily hot tubs and the wonderful service from the ships pool bar.

Relaxation at its best and a good chance to explore the ship and enjoy activities.

AND you can get left alone in peace and quiet, if you like....and all your newest friends are all dressed differently, ...and almost all of them act nice...not to mention "refreshments" of all types, anytime in any quantity...interestingly, bug juice is still alive and well...I could go on, but......

Thanks
