Norwegian’s ‘EMBARK’ Series Finale to Air Sept. 30

Norwegian Cruise Line has announced that the fifth and final episode of its ‘EMBARK’ docuseries will air on Thursday, September 30, 2021. Entitled ‘Adventure Awaits’ the episode will wrap up the series story of the line’s return to cruising journey. 

‘Adventure Awaits’ provides an inside look at the debut of Norwegian Encore, as the ship commences its first season of cruises to Alaska. Viewers will be treated to a first-hand look at the journey of the ship as it goes from Seattle on to the ‘Last Frontier'. The episode will also feature a look at the crew welcoming guests onboard, and an inside look at the behind-the-scenes work of the culinary and entertainment teams. 

“From the beginning, we wanted to bring guests along on our Great Cruise Comeback journey,” said Harry Sommer, president, and chief executive officer of Norwegian Cruise Line. “Given the level of uncertainty over the last several months many of us have been through, we wanted to reassure travelers that we were doing everything possible to provide the safest vacation experience, while also taking the time to elevate the onboard offerings. Through EMBARK – The Series we were able to demonstrate exactly how we were delivering on our commitment. This final episode is filled with so many emotions…and what comes through loud and clear is how excited guests and our crew are to be back out at sea with us.”

Norwegian Cruise Line is currently successfully sailing in Europe, the Caribbean, and Alaska. The line’s first ship to resume was the Norwegian Jade, which resumed operations in the Greek Isles on July 25, 2021, after a nearly 500-day suspension. Since then, Norwegian Cruise Line has resumed operations on the following ships: Norwegian Gem, Norwegian Encore, Norwegian Epic, and Norwegian Getaway. On September 26, the line will resume operations on the Norwegian Breakaway offering cruises to Bermuda from New York City. Norwegian Bliss and Norwegian Escape will also resume sailing this fall.
