Holland America Line Announces 2024 Canada/New England Itineraries
Holland America Line has announced its plans for the 2024 Canada and New England season.
The season will feature 29 sailings, with voyages ranging from weeklong getaways all the way to longer 24+ day journeys. From April through October, the cruise line will position Volendam and Zuiderdam in the region, with many sailings embarking from Boston.
“A Canada and New England cruise has it all for travelers looking to stay closer to home but experience a taste of Europe, beautiful scenery, amazing food, natural beauty and incredible history,” said Beth Bodensteiner, Holland America Line’s chief commercial officer. “Our expanded season allows travelers to explore the region from spring through autumn, including the popular fall foliage, and by offering longer cruises we can extend up to Greenland and Iceland for a truly unique vacation.”
Highlights of the 2024 Canada/New England season from Holland America Line include the following itineraries.
- Volendam will offer a series of seven-day Canada/New England cruises between Boston and Montréal, Québec. Ports include Bar Harbor, Québec City, Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Sydney, and Halifax.
- The Volendam will also offer longer 10-day Newfoundland & New England Discovery cruises that sail between Boston and Montreal. Ports include Quebec City, Baie-Comeau, Havre-Saint-Pierre, Corner Brook, St. Anthony, St. John’s, Halifax, and Portland.
- One seven-day Historic Coasts cruise roundtrip from Boston with calls at Portland, Bar Harbor, Saint John, New Brunswick, Halifax, and Sydney.
- A 24-day cruise will sail roundtrip from Boston and circumnavigates Iceland. This cruise makes six calls around Iceland, with 10 visits to Greenland, Maine, Nova Scotia, Labrador, and Newfoundland.
- Zuiderdam will sail seven-day ‘Canada & New England Discovery’ itineraries between Boston and Québec City, with weekend departures and overnight calls in Quebec City. Ports on most sailings include Bar Harbor, Charlottetown, Sydney, and Halifax.
Bookings are now open for Holland America Line’s 2024 Canada/New England season. For a limited time, guests booking the ‘Have It All’ premium package will receive shore excursions, specialty dining inclusions, included crew appreciation, an upgrade to the elite beverage package, and premium Wi-Fi.
