Carnival Previews Relaxation Areas on Carnival Celebration
Carnival Cruise Line shared exciting details about the design of the relaxation areas that guests will find on its upcoming ship, Carnival Celebration.
Carnival Celebration is slated to make its official debut on November 21, 2022, from its new home at Terminal F at PortMiami. The Excel-class ship will sail a variety of 6-, 7-, and 8-night Western and Eastern Caribbean cruises into 2024. Carnival Celebration is the line’s second ship to be powered by a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) propulsion system.
“While every Carnival ship has places to relax, we took all of the fan favorites from across our fleet and brought them to Carnival Celebration to make her the ultimate space to unwind and enjoy your vacation,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line. “From our popular Cloud 9 Spa and adult-only areas to the new spaces designed just for relaxing, there will be nothing like feeling pampered while enjoying endless ocean views and vibes on Carnival Celebration.”
Here’s a look at the newly-announced relaxation areas for guests on Carnival Celebration:
Cloud 9 Spa

Carnival’s Cloud 9 Spa is among one of the newly-announced relaxation areas. Like sister ship Mardi Gras, Cloud 9 Spa will be found on Decks 5 and 6. The zen-focused facility will feature a hydrotherapy pool, steam rooms, and a post-treatment relaxation room for lounging. Guests can enjoy a range of spa services like massages, facials, stone therapy, body wraps, acupuncture, men's and women's hair services, and nail services. The Cloud 9 Spa area will also feature an expansive fitness center equipt with all of the latest cardio and weight-training machines.
Loft 19

Loft 19 is the retreat relaxation area located on the ship’s highest deck. All guests staying in Carnival Excel-level suites can enjoy complimentary access to Loft 19 and priority cabana reservations. According to Carnival, this space is a “secluded retreat modeled after the world’s finest resorts and offers a new type of onboard luxury.” Here, you will find an infinity whirlpool surrounded by sun loungers and cabanas, a full bar, and some of the most spectacular ocean views found on the entire ship.
Serenity Adult-Only Retreat

The Serenity Adult-Only Retreat is the perfect place on the ship for adults to kick back and chill. Found on Deck 18, this area is reserved for adults 21+ only. Serenity will offer a pool area, two hot tubs, as well as a full-service bar.
