Mediterranean Adventure.
Wonderful experience. The included ships tours were a bit of a let down. The guides often had poor English and the itinerary did not seem to cover all the highlights in the allocated time. Too much “free time” for shopping and not value. For example we took the hop on hop off bus in Barcelona the day after the included ship tour and learnt so much more by doing this.

Cruise tips
Too rough to tender. Port cancelled.
You must do all the sights. Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, etc.
Livorno (Florence & Pisa), Italy
Great port. Visit the leaning tower in nearby Pisa.
Viking Star
Don’t be too concerned if you miss the restaurant or excursion of your choice when booking pre-departure. Plenty of opportunity once onboard to reserve your choice.
Very busy, even in the shoulder season.
Walking the town wall is a must do experience. A moderate level is fitness is required.
