Go to the PutPut Golf next to Snorkel Beach at Kings Wharf
Great walkaround town
Vision of the Seas
Be early for the shows as there may be limited alternative activities in the evenings - except a greedy casino! Save your money and go buy an ice cream instead. The guest speaker providing educational speaker was really an asset for the cruisers!
Great broadwalk, beach and shopping.
Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida
Quick transfers for 6,000 passengers ! Stay overnight at nearby hotel and enjoy Las Olas beach strip.
4 1/2 hour stop - brief - Senior Frog is close -Atlantis is easily accessible too.
Residents not trying to keep up with other ports and their enhancements. Downtown getting dirty.
Oasis of the Seas
Go early to the Windjammer on port days - hard to get a seat - Look around buffets early as there may be more around the corner - it is quite extensive with different offerings.
First, all should know that the food service personnel were attentive, most were very helpful and assist fully.* The Room Staff were very good and well trained. *The band was very professional and show dancers very energetic and colorful.* Ports were all very good and the ship in good condition, clean and well laidout.* "Less than expected" were the main lead dancers, lead singers and Asst Cruise Director who did not meet prior RCL standards.* Boogie Wonderland Show was flat due to lead singers not projecting - Broadway Show was nice (only) with no standing ovations offered by the audience.- Something was off center for these shows * "Frankie Vallie" singers were especially good as were the comedian and "Air Show" * Dining Room food was very good * Buffet was uninspired and had a feeling of sameness.* Viking Vista Lounge limited to "Diamond Level" only - until 8:30 PM after sunsets! Overall, we enjoyed the ship, ports and the staff onboard! And, we enjoyed.
