Impressed !
5 days at sea is a bit much but there were plenty of activities and we were looking to chill.
September 2019 - 11 Night Fall Foliage Southbound (Quebec City To Cape Liberty) Cruise on Adventure of the Seas
Fall Foliage ? not ! Suggest another Itinerary later in the season to catch leaf peeping.
The ship was great ; itinerary week. No fall leaves to view - maybe would have enjoyed it more it there were. Ship crowd was older (70’s- 80’s) , made us feel young at 62! Our adult children were anomalies . Met nice people and the art auctions became our main entertainment

Disappointing
Been on many cruises and this by far was the most disappointing.
-we didn't like freestyle dining at all. No relationship with servers and hard to coordinate with evening entertainment
-having to make a reservation for shows is absurd. By the time you figure out what you are doing for dinner,the shows are booked
- having passengers join and leave the cruise at different points takes away from the cruusi f experience.didnt get the orientation to the crew or they excitement that comes on a first day. Many first time cruisers were totally confused.
-hate the bathroom and toilet being the main cabin with no door. Compromises ones privacy if in the shower and the other party wants to leave.
-didn't care for being midship and no way to access the elevators and stairs without a healthy walk. Purposely positioned ourselves to get to the stairs. (Poor design )
-staff were not friendly or interested. -maybe due to not being able to create relationships with folks coming and going all the time?
- no wandering bar service on the upper pool deck

Relax the first few hours the ship is in port and avowed the crowds departing
Stayed a few days. This is a city , enjoyed Pearl Harbor and shopping. .
Comfortable town to walk around. Did the road to Hanna. Worth the time
Adventure of the Seas
Find another route. Ports were boring except for Quebec and Boston
Took a free walking tour. Was interesting.
Lots to do. Suggest you spend an extra day

Don't go on this ship. Had a better experience with Norweigen two years ago out of Venice to Greek islands . Had the same cruise director so I truly believe the bad experience was due to the multiple stops people can board resulting in shoe/dinner "reservation system " and crew lack of engagement.
