travel agent dissappeared after collecting her commission apparently. We could not get ANY other travel agent to call us back. We could not change flights. Due to booking connecting flights we NEVER got our luggage the ENTIRE trip. Sure, we had travel insurance that SHOULD have helped cover costs of buying clothes but associated insurance agent was at first only a recording and then was an elderly lady who could only recite the verbage on a flyer so no help. They then pointed us to the airlines for claims which took about 2 months. Oh, and due to the ports being a ways away from the ship we could not just walk into port and buy ...ANY clothes or even underwear until the 3rd stop and then we took a tour and had to separate from it for 30 minutes to find a clothing store. Onboard clothes are ONLY the cruise stuff so we essentially LIVED in "Hooked on Cruising" sweat pants, T's and Polo's for the ENTIRE cruise. We will NEVER book travel with ever again. Oh, and those BJ's credits we were supposed to get... nope, never saw then so we cancelled our membership as well.

Istanbul should receive well more publicity than it does as it was probably the highlight of the cruise. Great city, great people and not enough time.

Very disappointed with the itinerary for the cruise. When I purchased my cruise, we were supposed to stay overnight in Istambul and in reality we spent a day at sea and arrived early in Istambul to leave before 3 pm. This did not allow enough time to visit this great city (one key reason I chose this cruise, by the way) and also it did not allow for a chance to visit the mosques since they are closed to visitors in the morning (something I would have expected NCL knows and understands). Additionally, our stop in Mykonos was cancelled due to "weather reasons". In fact, there was a bit of wind but nothing terrible that would/should not have allowed us to disembark. Myknonos was the other key reason why I wanted to go on this cruise and NCL failed to deliver on this also. Finally, the time spent at ports was ridiculously short. Even the crew that we talked to agreed! You can check the final intineray we had so that I don't have to list it but spending 4-5 hours in a port and arriving at 6 am is just ridiculous. We are on a vacation, everyone was rushing and going crazy, not even getting to eat breakfast well.... terrible. Another point is regarding the Ports... you should definitely consider removing Napoli, Catania and Olympia from your stops. It is all very terrible to get off and the cities are very ugly and dirty. Santorini is pretty but lacks the infrastructure to attend to cruise ships. Finally, I'd like you to consider that not everyone that travels in NCL is from the U.S. and therefore not everyone shares the same dining hours. Having lunch at 1:30 the latest (some restaurants actually closed at 1:30) is not customary to customers from Europe or Latin America. This is not fair. Plus, the Shanghai bar was impossible to experience since you ran out of beepers and we had to wait over 3 hours to potentially get in (when it would be closed). On a final note, please consider removing the 20% mandatory gratuity. When tips and gratuities are forced on us, there is absolutely no incentive for staff to do exceptional work. Charging 20% is extremely high. Again, in Europe it is not customary to charge tips or gratuities. They are given when exceptional service is provided. Otherwise, it is understood that it is part of the service for the highly-priced food and beverage and hotel rooms that we're paying that we'll get adequate service.

Something that really bothered me was that I had the Unlimited Open Bar Package. It says in the drinks package you get Grey Goose vodka. (see picture) NCL didn't honor it. I asked for robes and they would only give me on 1. I never got my bottle of wine for being in a club suite balcony. I was also supposed to get early time to book excursions. NCL canceled my excursion to Pompeii and then when I asked to go on another pompeii excursion they didn't have room. I missed going there and it was one of the excursions i wanted to do the most. They took away one of our days in Istanbul. I just don't like having some of the best food in the world with eye shot and then not have time to eat there because of short ports of calls and then have to eat the sub par food on the boat. Also the drinks package isn't worth it. If it was at night I would have to go to a bar and get a coke in a purposely smaller glassware. they are constantly trying to upsell you on things. Buy photos and and spa treatments. is saying I am giving this a 3.9 rating. I would give it a 3.3/5 rating if I could override their rating that they say I am giving. The hairdresser kept asking my gf when she was retiring. How insulting.

Do not miss people about where they are disembarking!

Overall we had a great time. The perks and discounts offered by were a big plus. The cruiseship staff were friendly and helpful. Some of the excursions booked with Shore Excursions were not as advertised. The flight purchased from was disappointing.

The crew was great. I only met 1 staff member who I thought was not great. The ship was nice. Tender and getting back on the ship needed help, Excursions needed more information for some or to do what was listed. Overall it was a fun time with the family and we did buy more cruise vouchers. DO NOT USE THE AIRFARE THROUGH NCL WORST PART OF THE TRIP. IF I THOUGHT THE OTHER PARTS WERE LIKE THIS I WOULD NEVER GO BACK.

Overall Enjoyable onboard experience. Nice ship. Great staff. Shore excursions were overall poorly managed and did not meet expectations, and, thus, overpriced.

Ny cruise was an unforgettable experience! Loved ALL the ports. Would have never thought of Portugal was pleasantly surprised of its beauty. Norwegian Getaway's captain made the cruise fun and entertaining as well.

This was a family cruise with 2 daughters and 2 grandkids (aged 12 and 15). Plenty to do for everyone to do and the grandkids loved the kids clubs.

Had a great time. Bar service from Lucas was top shelf. Very friendly and attentive made you feel like family.

Everything was great except for disembarkation. Total mess.

Disappointed. Not worth the time and money. Generally boring. The 16th floor open H20 deck- carbon monoxide from engine was suffocating and a big turnoff. I’ve been in other ships and never smelt the smoke to is bad. Whyyyyyyy!!!!!!!

Let's just say the cruise was a perfect birthday celebration! So perfect I took advantage of the CruiseNext offer since I know another NCL cruise is on my list soon

Enjoyed it. Will definitely sail with Norwegian again.

Overall it was a pleasant experience. But it's just not the same as the "prepandemic" NCL experience.

Had a great cruise, bought a couple of cruise next vouchers and will be planning our next cruise shortly.

One of best itinerary I have been on. Weather and sea were picture perfect.
