Avoid trying to dine immediately after the first show lets out as the lines get long and you may have to wait up to 30 minutes for a table. Waiting time is shorter if you agree to sit with others. The earlier you go to breakfast at the buffet the easier to find a place to sit.

Take advantage of ship special events...there is a wide variety...shows, martini tasting, special dining. Teppanyaki was great.

I regret not getting the drink card for the trip and the dinning card as well. Great time was had!!

Found the main buffet in the Garden Cafe exceeded our expectations, but usually crowded--go early or late. They do serve a limited buffet outdoors between meals, and at the pool. We only went to the dining rooms 2 times and enjoyed it. Orchid Garden Asian restaurant was delicious.

Do all you can do to have fun! This is very easy!!!!!!!!!! Just do not get a room under loud "Splash Academy"! It was an overall wonderful experience! We would certainly do this again!!!!!!!!!!!!

Grand Pacific had extremely slow service. If in a rush eat in the Magenta, better quicker service.

I rated this ship 5 star, but i said that much of it was just ok. It is 5 star for an economical trip, We had a very relaxing and busy time. You get what you pay for, which is plenty of average food and onboard activities, above average entertainment and financially extra cost for excursions.

They need more staff for the bars on this ship. It is inexcusable to have to endure long waits to get a drink or a soda every time on a cruise. Its vacation and I do not want that stress. My sole reason to not give this cruise a really good review is the long waits for refreshments on board.

The soups in the Buffet were terrible. Please improve on them. Please include spaghetti and meat sauce at the pasta station like you used to have on all my other cruises on the Gem. Please include Chinese dishes in the Buffet

We love the entire staff! They are like one big happy family and everyone took excellent care of us. Activities were fun and there was always something going on for everyone. I will definitely choose Norwegian for any future vacations!!

When you first board, you enter through a mini-atrium that is really nice. When I went, they also were giving out little cocktails to welcome you, so be sure to grab one!!!

For example: Restaurants are extremely overpriced even for New York standards. Spinnaker Lounger too small to hold trivia,dance and contest shows. Smoking anywhere on board should be forbidden. Loudspeakers in sunbathing aft deck should be OFF!
