Things they don't tell you. Wi-Fi is $40/day, and no phone service without it. Get a tender ticket early for Grand Cayman or it will take you 3-4 hours to get off the ship. Don't buy Cuban cigars to bring back. (immigration will destroy).

The promenade was really pretty. We had an emergency at home and inquired about a ship to shore phone call. Without knowing our details, the front desk offered us a free call.

Definitely hit up the Viking Lounge bar, and make sure you take the time to see the comedy shows as well as the game show "The Quest." These were hilarious and worth staying up for (as long as you're willing to get a little crazy).

If you purchase digital images of your photos, ask them to show you the image file before you leave the shop. Once you're off the ship, it is very difficult to get resolution.

The ship is so big and beautiful. Look at the layout ahead of time to have an idea where to go. 1st day, go to studio B to get ice show tickets, they're free, but needed for the limited seating shows! Try the rockwall, flowrider, and ice rink! Get to know your stateroom attendant, very helpful!

Always have breakfast at the Windjammer. Great views of where you have been. The pool deck is a great place to relax and meet people.

You will need to bring multi-plugs or extension cords. I also travel with a small fan since I am used to ceiling fans. I kept getting turned around so an in-room ship map would be helpful! Pre-plan your on-shore excursions and book early. The best sold out early!

Explore every available area of the ship. There is a lot to see and do and if you don't take some time to explore the ship, you will miss something for sure.
