Don't get the soda package or the HUB chat feature. The soda package is cans that they open for you and pour into a glass, you cannot take an unopened can back to your room. And the HUB chat was always up and down with the on ship Wi-Fi, constantly disconnecting or "unable to connect" to Wi-Fi. Useless.

Not great for younger kids given the amenities but if you are comfortable leaving them at the kids club, you'll be fine. Set your expectations properly - it's an old ship so it won't have the same amenities or design as a newer ship. We still had a great time but I don't know I would take this ship again unless it goes to dry dock.

If you don't mind buffets you can get most of the same good food as in the dining rooms.

Enjoy the food, pool, casino, bars and other amenities. Ignore the "jewelry giveaways" from the jewelry store except the Pandora bracelet and charms. The rest is junk.

Wear fanny pack, bring lanyards for key cards, walkie talkies or purchas chat for larger groups.

One piece of advice would be to look at reviews like this one and take the good with the bad. Follow all instructions to the letter, and you won't have any issues at all. We expected this being our first cruise for there to something, but we had an amazing time and not a single issue outside of the couple small ones mentioned.
