It was a nice getaway to warm weather. Be sure to check out the Atrium at night to hear music and dance.
Embarkation

New Orleans port manages to make it happen but is quite slow and a bit unorganized. Lines were longer than expected.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Some struggles with buffet and seated dinner in the dining room. Both were quite slow moving. Food was okay, but not great. Of course Guys burgers and the Mexican place are both amazing. Pizza and ice cream were wonderful as well.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Always something to do. Fun crowd, comedy was hilarious, music was great, and the casino was fun. Movies on the big screen were nice. Pools and hot tubs were full of kids, including ours! Trivia daily. Bingo was way too slow as the sweet girl calling the numbers couldn’t stay focused. Putt putt golf is small and windy, but we managed to get a few rounds in.
Entertainment

Lots of music and dancing. Fun DJ!
Service and Staff

Great group of people doing everything they can to make our vacation fun! These folks work long hours, work hard, and many of them have multiple jobs. They are always smiling and speaking to people.
Ship Quality

Layout was a bit difficult to figure out. It’s always wise to look at the layout and figure out the road blocks on day one to save frustration. Ship is older so she is showing her age. Boat was clean and team members were always making sure it stayed that way.
Cabin / Stateroom

Exactly as expected! Small, clean and had a beautiful view. We also had room 6335, but no connecting door. We asked our room steward if he could open the balcony and he did. We ended up connecting the rooms and had a long balcony.
Ship tip
It’s vacation so go enjoy yourself, but have patience and always be kind!
Surprised by this stop as it was quite different from most. There was free shuttle service to the town as it is way too far to walk to. Nice public beach. Be prepared for the locals to try and sell you everything possible.
