A: Not sure if you’ve already booked the Hilton at LAX but if not I’d recommend staying in San Pedro near the port. When we leave from San Pedro we always stay at the Crowne Plaza however there are other hotels in the area. The Crowne Plaza is less than... a mile from the port. A: Long Beach is closer and much smaller than LAX. Easy to call a ride share or grab a taxi. Long Beach to San Pedro by ride share and taxi were close in price. A: In December we stayed at the Crown Plaza in San Pedro. Very nice. Breakfast included. Shuttle to port was 5.00. The hotel was packed with other cruisers waiting for the shuttle so we opted to walk the ten minutes to the pier. We flew into the Long Be... ach airport and took a taxi to the hotel. A: Both LAX and LGB are equally good to fly into. The Crowne Plaza on Palos Verdes ST, or the Doubletree are good choices. Not cheap, but very safe. Many cruise passengers stay at both properties.

A: San Pedro, we stayed at the crown plaza it was nice only 2 blocks away. the night before we walked down to the pier sat on the dock watched other boats, and freighter come in, also ships. also see seals really cool.

That it is only wine or champagne y they will confiscate all other alcohol…and will dispose of it…you can bring more than one bottle of wine or champagne per adult …but there is a fee for each bottle…after embarkation any alcohol purchased a... shore will be confiscated upon your return to ship and returned to you the last sea day….if you consume the wine or champagne you bring aboard in any of the public places you are subject to a corkage fee…I have never paid the fee at the bar and half the time I was never charged the fee in the MDR…if you are concerned about the corkage ($15-$25)…you can get a wine glass from a bar…open the bottle in your cabin and carry the wine…See More

A: it's 2 per cabin, not one per person. there's no fee to carry more than 2 on they will confiscate any above the 2 limit. if flying they need to be in check then moved to your carry on to board. be sure they are in you carry on when boarding or they w... ill hold your luggage.See More
