Hello last time I cruised with NCL was 2019 and I paid maybe less than 20 bucks each person to chat w family in the ncl app for us ur was worth it as we tried the Wakie talkies before and didn’t work for us .  I did cruise Oct with Royal and one of our teens suggested creating a family chat on Instagram and since we were using ship Wi-Fi it worked great and we didn’t pay anything
