What is Your Favorite Place to Hang Out on a Cruise Ship?

We are all drawn to certain places on a ship. For some it is the piano bar, or the lido pool, for others it may be a particular lounge/bar, others want a quiet library to read. Or, it may not even be a public space but your private balcony.

For me, it is the Observation Lounge ; on HALs ship it is called the Crow's Nest.

Balcony, lido deck, balcony, lido deck....

Any place that has Bar as the second word.

During the day, we will be lounging on one of the decks in the sun, and in the evening we wander the Promenade, shops, and listen to the music in a Latin lounge if there is one, after watching the show in the theatre.

Aft lounges, piano bar and, on Carnival, the Red Frog Pub.

On Carnival it's the Serenity. On one RCI ship the Champagne bar, it had big round floor to ceiling windows and over stuffed big chairs. on sea days it was very quiet in that bar and they had a great red wine, I spent a few hours in there killing off a couple bottles of good red, chocolate covered strawberries and a friend with the big chairs turned to just look out the window, relax and watch the sea go by.

I enjoy so many places..There are so many fun places, people watching places, and places for sail away. Our favorite moment is the sail away and being on the aft of the ship. But I think may favorite place is on our balcony just before bedtime in my PJs.

My balcony, the casino bar and the AFT pool.

I like to read in relaxing public areas, so I'll find a quiet lounge with comfy chairs where I can read and nap between chapters. Ship libraries aren't necessary suited for a relaxing time with a book (Crown Princess library for example is tiny with no lounge chairs). For some reason I don't enjoy reading in my cabin as much as in a public area.

1. My balcony 2. Hot tub.

All over. Love just walking all the outside decks watching the seas and the people, reading on the balcony, or at an outdoor lounge close to the stern.
