Review of South American Cruise with Zaandam

Sail Date: December 06, 2015

Reviewed: 1 year ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

The South American cruise was amazing. Some of the places were interesting to view however one or two stops I would pass over (Punto Arenas, Ushuaia and Santiago Chile). The staff was friendly and accommodating. The only draw back is that not sufficient vegetarian choices especially when the dining room was closed for lunch. The scenic cruise is great panoramic view.  We were well rested despite the itinerary stops.

Excellent staff and ship!

Cabin / Stateroom
The cabin is large and clean
Embarkation and Disembarkation
Disembarkation was not well organized. There was no mention on the post-cruise ticket what room to meet
Ship Quality
Overall clean and well maintained
Destinations and Excursions
We had taken excursions with every stop however some stops were not worth the money especially Punta Aernas, Ushuaia
Onboard Activities
We went to some of the tango lessons however it was a bit difficult to follow but lots of fun
Children's Programs N/A
The entertainment especially the pianist, the tango dancers and the crew show was magnificient
Service and Staff
The crew was friendly and accomodating
Food and Dining
Not enough choices for vegetarians
