Review summary

entertainers were not well chosen--schedule of certain activities were scheduled always at dinner time-- embarkation was a mess and very poorly supervised -especially with luggage- help for people needing help was available and done with a great attitude

dining room; food was good-not great--breakfast and lunch service was very spotty- Lido was good, service very good,help given graciously when needed dining room--where was the crew member with mints and fruit after dinner? it was there once--every other cruise with HAL had it every night--a little thing but representative of cutting back for the passengers

Entertainment

dancers and singers were very good other evening entertainment was mediocre--and where was a comedian?--a ship should always have a stand-up comedian trivia:only once a day--there are a lot of trivia fans who travel with HAL--prizes (while not important) were poorly thought through--

Service and Staff

lido staff excellent help getting off ship was remarkable (I needed use of a cane and help was always there when needed)-special help on disembarkation was a wonderful treat

ship itself was very nice-clean, easy to get around--not too much walking to get to many activities--never had problem finding table at Lido

Pros: ship itself was very nice

Cons: baggage embarkation was bad and some previous features of HAL were missing
