Only our second cruise, but this is definately the best way to vacation. Every thing you need is there, great food, your lodging, beautiful places to see and more activities than you can ever do! We like that when we get to a port, they have all these excursions that they have researched for you. Then we can check them all out and see which ones we would enjoy most. Otherwise we would not know what each port has to offer. We loved the helicopter and dog sledding ride at Norris Glacier! Breathtaking views and scenery and loads of fun. Would we do Alaska again? Absolutelely!!

Ate way too much, but enjoyed every minute of it.

Didn't do a lot of on board activities, but what we did was great.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
We didn't bring our children this time (25th anniversary), but did check out activities and did feel fully comfortable to bring them next time.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Seemed at first to be tenative and shy, but they did warm up and were very friendly and helpful. Some had problems understanding English well, making it a little hard to communicate.

Ship Quality

Never crowded and easy to get from one place to another.

Cabin / Stateroom

Always kept neat and clean.

Most stores sell the same things in all the ports, so find what you need and then enjoy the beautiful surroundings and places to visit.
Don't Miss: The logging show store, it was the one store that had unique gifts!

Beautiful port with lots of little islands
Don't Miss: The hill where U.S.A. purchased Alaska from Russia.

Great weather, beautiful scenery and lovely old buildings.
Don't Miss: Helicopter ride and dog sledding on Norris Glacier

Pros: Being able to do what we wanted when we wanted and the staff seeing that this could happen for us

Cons: Staff seemed tentative at first, but after the first couple of days they completely warmed up. Also some staff didn't know English well enough, making it hard to communicate.
