Review summary
Great ship with amazing crew. All the crew were amazing. Plenty of activities to do every day. The app was a little slow and glitchy. I definitely recommend Wonder of the Seas.Embarkation
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
Sorrentos
Pizza is good as always. You can order a whole pizza but they don’t have boxes so they put it on a plate with a plate on top and the plate tends to slide when walking. They need to get boxes or something that is better than that for taking whole pizzas back to your room.
English Pub
Great drinks and friendly bartenders!
Boardwalk Dog House
Hot dogs are good. Nice to grab when on the boardwalk. Line could get a little chaotic though because there was no signage as to where the start of the line was. They have potato salad and coleslaw as side options.
Wonderland
Experience is amazing. I am kind of a picky eater so I didn’t care for most of the appetizers but I got the branzino as the main course and it was one of the best things I ate all cruise. I highly recommend trying it at least once.
Windjammer Cafe'
Love the layout. Finding a seat was difficult at times. The breakfast food was the same every day. They did have a good selection of food for breakfast and lunch though.
The Mason Jar Southern Restaurant and Bar
Cute southern themed restaurant with live country music. For appetizers the pimento cheese, crab beignets, and deviled eggs are really good. For mains the St. louis ribs are really good the fried chicken I thought was kinda dry but ok. The mac and cheese is really good. The fried oreos are really good as well. Our server was fantastic.
The Lime and Coconut
Only went once but it is a nice bar that has frozen drinks.
The Attic
Great venue with amazing bar wait staff to get drinks for you.
Sugar Beach
Nice place but the candy is charged per ounce and it adds up quickly so we spent $30 on a bag of gummy candy that wasn’t even full to the top. The price per ounce is $1.10. The dispensers for the gummy candy are really difficult to use the gummies stick and are hard to get out. It is a 2 person job to get the gummy candy. The other dispensers are easier to use.
Starbucks
Great friendly service the few times I went. They have a starbucks wonder of the seas mug available.
Room Service
Room service is good as always. Got room service many times and it always seemed to arrive quicker than expected. Food was also always hot.
Park Cafe
Love the Cuban at Park Cafe. The food is so good and great selection to choose from. They do have chips but you have to ask for them. They should have a sign saying they have chips.
Johnny Rockets
Love going to Johnny Rockets for lunch on every cruise that has one. Delicious as always. Breakfast is also very good and is included.
Izumi
Hibachi was amazing. They let you mix and match the protein options to create your own combo. Rice is so good. The chef was so nice and funny.
Hooked Seafood
The seafood is so good and our waiter was amazing
Giovanni's Italian Kitchen
One of my favorite specialty restaurants by far. The chicken parmesan is so good. The tiramisu is to die for.
Chops Grille
Had a better experience this time compared to a previous visit. Not my favorite specialty restaurant.
Cafe Promenade
Great coffees that are included with the drink packages. They do have some sandwich and dessert options.
Boleros
Great drinks!
Onboard Activities
The Perfect Storm Waterslides
Super fun!
Main Pool
All the pools were great only went in the pool once when we docked in cococay because they were crowded the rest of the time. The pool deck does get extremely hot though so make sure you have shoes.
Entertainment
Aquatheater
My least favorite water show at of all the Oasis class ships. Show was kinda boring especially at the beginning not very much diving involved. Very repetitive. A lot of people left early
Art Gallery
Beautiful art but didn’t purchase any. Anytime I walked by no one was pushy or trying to sell me anything which I appreciated. They did make an announcement in the morning on Day 7 into the room about the art auction which I don’t think was necessary.
Promenade Shops
The Royal Caribbean shop selection was ok but not the best compared to other ships. Some things that I like to get on every cruise they didn’t have on Wonder. They have a lot of shops that don’t interest me such as liquor/perfume, jewelry, and designer purses.
Studio B
The Ice Show was amazing
Spotlight Karaoke
Way too small of a space for a ship that holds this amount of people. You had to show up at least 30-45 minutes early to any trivia held there to be able to get a seat other wise you had to sit on the floor or stand.
Focus Gallery
Super helpful staff and they have a lot of computers and tablets to view your pictures on. They had a separate pickup line so it took only a couple minutes to pick up pictures compared to other ships that take a while. They had multiple spots to get pictures taken every night.
Casino Royale
Didn’t win anything but enjoyed playing the slot machines.

Ship tip
Book shows and dining early if you can but don’t worry if you can’t. More spots open up as soon as you board.
