Great cruise. Loved the ship. Looking forward to Utopia of the Seas in October, and hopefully Star of the Seas in 2026. I know it comes out in 2025, but hopefully the price will come down a little in 2026.
Embarkation

Embarkation was very smooth. I think we were on the ship in about 34 minutes from the time we entered the terminal. Very smooth.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
All the food we had was good. The only issue we had was at 150 Central Park. The food was great, but something happened to our order. We didn't really get an explanation, but it took well over an hour to be served. We think that they over cooked the steak I ordered and then forgot about the order completely. But when we FINALLY got our food, it was very good. And they comped the entire bill. MDR was great. And our wait staff were AMAZING!!!
Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade
5 out of 5
Oh man, Playmakers was the joint. I love onion rings, and theirs was great. The wings, the wings, the wings. Some of the best I've had. My wife really only likes wings from one place in Orlando, so when I order the wings, she said that she would try 1 maybe 2. She ate HALF the order. She said they were as good as her goto place in Orlando.
Onboard Activities

Didn't do a lot. It was kind of a relaxing cruise. Did, however do the Ultimate Abyss. For an old guy like me, it was my first time, and it was great. Now I want to do it again, hopefully on Utopia.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Entertainment is a matter of taste. I met someone a few months before my cruise that had just cruise Wonder of the Seas. She said that the entertainment was just ok. The Effectors show was a waste of time and that she actually got up and left. She did, however, like aqua show. Now, for me, I felt that all the shows were great. Every one in our group liked the shows. Now they liked some more than others, but they were all good. And the aqua shows that Royal Caribbean puts on, you can't beat them. They are all AMAZING. I really liked the Effectors show. They way they do the things they do. The way they make it look like someone is walking on the ceiling, come on, it's great. Now if someone is not into super hero type stuff, then I can understand them maybe not liking the story line, but the proformence and the things they are able to do is great.
Service and Staff

The staff was great. Our wait staff. AMAZING. Even with the mishap at 150 Central Park, the staff was still great.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
I'm a fan of the MEGA Ships. There is so much to do, and we didn't do hardly anything on the ship. I want to go back, just to try a few more things. Our cabin was nice and clean. No problems with anything on the ship. Now granted I don't go on cruises to try and find things to complain about, but there was nothing that stood out to me as an issue on the ship.
Cabin / Stateroom

We had a Balcony Cabin, and it was very nice.
Ship tip
Wonder is a very large SHIP with lots to do. If you don't like big ships, then don't go on Wonder. But if you like the Mega Ships, then go and enjoy yourself.
Third times a charm. This was my third cruise with a stop at Perfect Day at CocoCay and the first 2 we were not able to stop there because of the weather. And this time it started out the same way. The waves were rough and the captain said that we might not be able to dock. After about an hour, and because of the size of Wonder, the captain was able to dock the ship. Also Odyssey was there and because Wonder was able to block a lot of the waves, Odyssey was able to dock also. Mega Ships are great. We didn't do much at CocoCay, but it was just nice being there. Ok now this is going to be very CONTROVERSIAL, for ME personally the chicken sandwich is over hyped. It's a good sandwich, but it doesn't compare to Chickfila. I know, I know, I might get banned from going to CocoCay again. The mozzarella cheese sticks are good. Didn't try the funnel cakes. The food at the buffet looked very good, but because I had heard SSSSOOOO much about the chicken sandwich, I tried that instead. Supposed to be going back in October, so I think I will try the buffet. Oh and one PSA, if you are a big guy like me, don't try and get in the hammock. It's not pretty!
This is where things get interesting. Overall, I enjoyed this stop. Been to Roatan Honduras once before many years ago. This time with this group, I wanted to do something a little different. So we booked an ATV, Monkey and Sloths tour with a third party tour group. I did a LITTLE research on the company and saw that they were recommended by a few cruise vloggers. So I felt pretty good about my choice. The Monkey and Sloths part of the tour was good. So I WOULD recommend that part of the tour, HOWEVER the ATV part I would not recommend. Now with that said, after the cruise, I did look up reviews on the company and for this particular tour. The majority of the reviews were very good, but 1, now 2 (mine) are not so good. I think that any tour group that is doing any kind of vehicle tour where you are the driver, then the first thing that should be asked is how comfortable are you with driving this vehicle. Or have you driven one of these before. And the tour should be adapted for the situation. Now mind you, it was only the 6 of us that was in the group. NONE of us had ever ridden an ATV before. First off they did have helmets, but they said that we didn't have to ware them because we were not going fast. The ATVs, in my opinion, were not kept up. Tires didn't have enough tread for the conditions. Two of the ATVs, the chains kept coming off. And just before we got back, one of the ATVs completely broke down and had to be left on the road. For people that are not proficient in driving ATVs, I don't think we should have been driving on steep muddy narrow roads. Twice I had to get off of my ATV and walk up the steep road, and have the tour guide drive it up the road. The tour driver said that I was sitting to far up on the ATV and the tires were unable to grip the road properly. So I guess I should sit far back on the ATV going up a steep slop, and let gravity cause the ATV to flip backwards. Needless to say the next time I book an excursion like this I will do A LOT MORE research.
Been to Cozumel many times before, but it's good to try different things, or going with different people. Cruising this time with my Brother in Law and Sister in Law, my sister and a family friend. Went to some Mayan Ruins and Beach and a shop. Had a good time.
This day was just a relaxing beach day. I had planned to try snorkeling for the first time. I bought a snorkel mask and was good to go. But that day in Costa Maya was a bit chilly, and being from Florida, I'm not getting in cold water. So no snorkeling for me that day. But it was just nice hanging out at the beach.
I live in Florida, so Port Canaveral isn't a big deal to me. Jetty Park is a great place to go, but if you are not a resident of the city, it will cost $20 or more to get in.
We always carry off our luggage, and once again VERY SMOOTH. I think from the time we left our cabin for self assist disembarkation, we were in our car heading home in about 40 minutes or so. Very smooth.
Thank you for sharing your cruise experience. What a great review.
Being an Orlando resident myself, I have to know where is your wife’s favorite wings place? The ones that I love keep getting shut down:(
