Review summary

Overall, for first timers on a Royal Caribbean Oasis class ship, you will have a great time and find plenty to do. If you're an experienced cruiser with higher expectations, this will be an average ship for you. Coco Cay was the highlight of the entire trip.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Using mobile passes and early check-in makes everything much faster and smoother.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Overall 4 stars but docking 1 star for the bartender that left a piece of glass in one of my drinks that I purchased.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
There is something for everyone to do whether you're into music, sports, gambling, art, fitness. Docking 1 star because the cruise director was kind of lame.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Great variety of shows however, none of them were memorable and the musical ones were average and so boring I remember almost falling asleep (especially the acapella show). No good song choices. Docked 1 star for that.

Ship tip

If you've been on any of the other oasis class ships (Oasis, Allure, Symphony, etc.), Wonder is pretty much the same layout but cleaner since its newer. Wouldn't recommend if you want to experience a new ship. Also, be a good person and complete the survey at the end for your stewards and waiters. This is how they get promoted which helps their families back at home. Being they provided outstanding service.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

5 out of 5
As big and busy as the port was, everything went smooth.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

5 out of 5
Very huge and enough to spend the whole day at. No need to book an excursion.

Cozumel, Mexico

3 out of 5
Been here too many times. If you are scared of natural algae water and bugs, do not book the Casa Tortuga Tulum.

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

4 out of 5
Nice people. Favorite excursion which was at a private beach.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

2 out of 5
All shopping nothing else. Don't waste money here. Tequila chocolate not worth it ($10 for a bar and too sweet).

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very smooth. Used goport.
