Review summary

We will definitely stick to all inclusive vacations over a cruise from now on. If I wanted overcrowding I would have gone to a big city.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
Very organized

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Main dining great, staff especially. We could not get reservations elsewhere and the prices were high to eat there after already paying high prices to go on cruise and buy a drink package. We have never had to pay extra at specialty dining in any all-inclusive vacations.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
Pools were overcrowded and adults could hardly get in. The ship has a "no reservation of chairs" rule but all seats near pools were taken by 8am. Very disappointed. Way too many people. We did the big slide and that was fun.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
Could not get into anything....all reserved months before we boarded.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Best part of ship, our waiters in main dining were outstanding (Alyssa and Denis). However there was not enough crew for all the people. Had to always go get get your own drinks at bar vs having them brought to you.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Cleanliness was very good! But design? Long lines everywhere, too crowded, elevators always waiting and full

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
It suited us great, plenty of room. Cleaned well daily.

Ship tip

Choose a smaller ship!! All inclusive are much better value for money.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

3 out of 5
We only embarked there, it was fine.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

5 out of 5
You have to pay for chairs and umbrella on beach but beach was lovely

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

5 out of 5
Port was nice and very pretty but my money was stolen at the beach.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

5 out of 5
10,000 people loaded onto this island, long lines and crowded

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Also very organized, we took our own luggage.

A lesson in doing your research. As others have commented, spring break is a no-no, we're from UK and learned that lesson years ago after a week of mayhem in Miami followed by the cruise from hell. So we always check before booking when spring break drops. Wonder is HUGE, and with a return to cruising meaning ships are virtually at full capacity, crowding is inevitable, and all the advisors will tell you to book shows as soon as the window opens. Doesn't sound like you had a total disaster, but you can't compare a land based All-Inc holiday (vacation) with the variety of a cruise. Try cruising again, but not at spring break time, and do more research - I promise you'll get addicted - we did🥳

What pool was packed with adults? The Solarium?

Thank you for sharing your cruise experience. Sorry that the cruise did not meet your expectations. Spring break and cruising on the newest and largest cruise ship in the world would be crowded. If you want to give cruising another try, research a smaller ship and go during a less crowded time of year.

Maybe experience would have been better if you could have prebooked your entertainment. Its a huge ship and spring break is overloaded

Appreciate your feedback. Sailing during Spring Break increases the odds of overcrowding. Sorry the cruise didn’t meet your expectations. Glad you have a vacation model (all inclusive) that fits your w. At least you tried cruising as an alternative, and found it lacking.

Agree, smaller ships and longer days means no crowding. No more 5-7 day cruises for me. Two was enough, though the Infinity was a nice smaller ship - I just didn't like the layout.
