Review summary

Our 7 day cruise on The Wonder in Feb. 2023 was WONDERful. Our travel advisor’s personal attention helped us plan and prepare for a worry free cruise. We enjoyed the food, service, and entertainment onboard. We especially enjoyed the themed evenings and dressed accordingly in the main dining area. Our favorite activities onboard were Laser Tag and Trivia. But arrive early if you can’t get reservations. Both are popular and participation is limited. For entertainment in Main Theater, Aqua Theater, Comedy Club, and Ice Skating Rink, make reservations as soon as they open weeks before you cruise. Otherwise you’ll be waiting in long lines, and your seats will not be as good as they could be. Weather prevented us from stopping at Coco Cay, so we’ll just have to cruise again!

Main dining had good food, but the classic meals were not offered every night.

We loved trivia games - but venues were so small that we could not participate if we did not arrive 40-60 minutes before they began. We enjoyed laser tag, but could only get reservations for one day and time. We liked one of the comedians, but the raw, raunchy comedian’s act was not one we enjoyed.

Entertainment

Shows were very good we especially liked VOICES. We miss seeing a Broadway show onboard.

Service and Staff

Our cabin steward and our wait staff at all meals were excellent.

Ship Quality

Most everywhere we went it was clean. It was also huge. Only thing we hated was the smoky casino, and we tried to avoid crossing through it.

Cabin / Stateroom

Room was a good size, and we enjoyed the balcony. We would sit outside to enjoy the good weather, to read, or just watch clouds go by.

Ship tip

Do NOT sit on stage left for Aqua Theater INTENSE. We got block spots on our clothes that will not come out.

We were in a catamaran to see Turtle Reef and snorkel. The water was so cold in 2/23.

We sail a week from tomorrow and have not seen anything come up to reserve trivia or laser tag. Are those things you have to reserve on the ship only?
