Review summary

While we were not able to dock at Cococay due to high winds, we had a great time on this cruise. I wish I'd taken advantage of more of the activities, but I suspect we will cruise on the Wonder again.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We enrolled in the Key/VIP program and getting on the ship and preparing for embarkation was SO easy!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food was very good the majority of the time. I know it's hard to cook for 10,000 people at one time, so passengers just need to be prepared. Breakfast pancakes/frenchtoast were either wet from sitting under a plastic lid or hard from sitting under a towel. Scrambled eggs were always WAY too wet, so we started going to the Solarium buffet where they served folded scrambled eggs that were perfect. My extra cost filet mignon was quite fatty one night and perfect another night. There are so many options though, so you can always find something else without buying the meal package.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We should've participated in more, but when we did it was great. Naturally the pools get very crowded, so be prepared to arrive early or wait for better chairs to open up after lunch.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
We enjoyed the shows, but don't expect stellar performances. I was confused as to why the aqua show was dedicated to daughters, yet all about "RAGE". The performance itself was amazing! For Voices, the singers were amazing, but the "virtual" singers on the screen in the background took over... the screens are so large that you forget there are folks singing real time on stage and it felt like they weren't the stars of the show. Expect crude & rude humor from the comedians. You will be talking to them, and become part of their jokes, if you sit in the front row.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
While it was sometimes difficult to understand a few folks with thick accents, everyone was always friendly and patient!

Ship tip

If you get motion sick, this is the boat to go on!! I am highly susceptible to motion sickness, but suffered NONE on this ship!
