Overall a very fun cruise on a brand new ship. What more can you ask for. 6 of the 7 days you are at a port and only one day at sea. With that amount of time at port it doesn’t give you a ton of time to truly explore all of the ship so make sure to take advantage of your time each evening on board.

Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The windjammer cafe was nice and clean. Very fresh and revamped look from some of the other royal ships. In addition to that the main dining room was very nice and they have many signature restaurants to chose from such as Chops, Giovannis, Wonderland etc. All the food was great and it was great to be able to serve yourself again at the buffets and areas where you have the ability.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
The water slides were very fun. We enjoyed all three of them as well as the Abyss that went from deck 16 down to the board walk.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Tons of great entertainment. The adult comedy shows were great. We went twice. Also we enjoyed the intense water show as well as the ice show. Both were really enjoyable and fun to watch. I’m addition to that participated in some of the adult game shows that are always fun at the end of an evening.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Excellent service from all the staff on board, as usual. We have never experienced poor service on royal.

Brand new and shiny, and you routinely see the crew working to keep it clean every single day.
We have been to Rome before so we decided to do something different. We went and visited Tuscania and the countryside of Italy. It was a pleasant day exploring and wine tasting.
We enjoyed an excursion to Positano, Amalfi Coast, Sorrento and Pompeii. It was a very long day but really beautiful and enjoyable. The shuttle to the Amalfi Coast from the port is 1 hour 30 minutes (worth it). Fun port with so many different things you can do. Would definitely like to return and either enjoy Naples or Capri next time.
Not our favorite port but we made the best of it. We took a shuttle all the way up to cathedral and enjoyed a nice tour along the entire coast of the city that was very enjoyable.
Tons of things to do in Barcelona between eating and sight seeing. Recommend staying before and after the cruise to enjoy and explore. Recommend a tapas tour.
