If you are prone to sea sickness, you might prefer not to stay on the first floor. The cabin portholes were at water level. We enjoyed seeing the waves splash against our porthole windows, but other may not enjoy this. Plus you do hear the water sloshing against the sides of the ship.

Be ready to go with the flow. Ports change due to weather/water condition. Make sure to take sea-sick medicine. It get's fairly rocky.

Be ready to be amazed at how wonderful Windstar really is. Well travelled passengers, younger crowd as in no wheelchairs, or elderly passengers with mobility issues.

Do not expect your days to be filled with high eneThe ocean and the stars are spectacular. You get on board and all of yours needs are graciously met. The trip is for people looking for calm and peaceful who are able to entertain themselves.
