Review summary

Good cruise. Would probably go with them again. Take your sea sick medicine. Sign up for the excursions before the cruise, as some sold out. Be flexible, as itinerary can change due to water/weather conditions. Staff did a good job with arranging new excursions when itinerary changed.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Fast and orderly.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Could not get reservations at the specialty restaurants. They were already full. Drink service was somewhat slow. Usually went to the bar and waited for drinks instead of being served.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Pool was overly crowded. No lounge chairs available. Towels station was empty EVERY time I went for a towel. Had to ask pool staff for towels. SLOW response.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The singers in the lounge were fun to listen to and we had fun dancing to the tunes. The entertainment director, Garrett was a hoot! Lots of fun.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Tender boats need TWO people, plus driver to help this age group in/out of tender boats. When we left the ship, there were always two people to help us in/out of the tender boat. When we were at the ports, there was ONLY one person to help on/off. These caused it to be difficult to get on the tender boat. The tender boats are not steady, which isn't the issue. The issue is, TWO people should help us passengers in/out.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
I never saw anything dirty or out of place.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Of course we didn't have much of a view with two port holes, but we new that when we booked. Our room stewart was excellent. Room was kept clean and tidy the entire cruise.

Ship tip

Be ready to go with the flow. Ports change due to weather/water condition. Make sure to take sea-sick medicine. It get's fairly rocky.

Not sure if I have the correct port, but wherever the beach bbq was is what I am writing about. The beach was full and there were no chairs available. I had to ask three times and staff finally put out more lounge chairs. It was tent after tent on the beach and you don't even see the water. Very disappointed in the beach bbq.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Disembarkation was okay. Could be better if they only had one group to the lounge at a time. Several groups had to be in the lounge way before their disembarkation time.
