It was a beautiful, if casual, ship. Great suite.  Glad we upgraded.  Food was good but I don't think it rated luxury standards.  Scheduled times in ports was maybe the best I have ever experienced.

Service was hit or miss for all meals. Had to ask several times to be served and for water or bread. The excursions were good and the marina was excellent and a lot of fun. The entertainment was so-so. The food was OK but not exceptional.

The trip on the Windsurf from Edinburgh to Dublin was truly a memorable experience. The ship's crew was fantastic--the provided 24/7 service and tried their best to mak everyday a wonderful experience...and they generally succeeded. The food was fantastic and if you dint gain 5 pounds...you must have been a very picky eater!! Choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner offered options to make everyone happy....plus the desserts were outrageous. My only concern is that the shore excursions were a bit over priced and did not always offer great value for the fees charged. The trip to Belfast was over $250 per person....3 hrs to get there and only 2 hrs in Belfast including lunch...and another 2 1/2 hrs to get back to the ship. No walking time or shopping time at all. Otherwise, a great experience and highly recommend it.

This was our second cruise in the Mediterranean on the Wind Surf and unfortunately we were disappointed. While the boat and accommodations are generally excellent, our 2 cabins were located so that the noise level from the engines was often distracting and there was something knocking outside of our cabin windows periodically that could not be fixed - I would definitely recommend against cabins anywhere close to where we were located (141 and 143). Also, the food was only good on this cruise, with repetitive items and menus, while the last time it was very good to outstanding with great variety. While the service of the vast majority of the crew is outstanding, the activities/excursion crew were clear exceptions to these high standards. If you had not booked one of the Windstar sponsored excursions, at one port they tried to relegate passengers to the back of the the line, resulting in a delay of an hour to be taken to shore by tender after the scheduled docking time. In Palma de Mallorca, the shuttle dropped passengers off literally in the middle of nowhere - an hour walk to the nearest sight (our last Windstar cruise also docked in Palma, but provided shuttle bus service within five minutes of the old city). The drop off point in Palma was so far out that it wasn't even on the city maps that had been provided on board. We asked to be contacted by the cruise line but have yet to hear from them.

The ship is older but still very charming. Rooms were much nicer and larger than I expected. The smallness of the ship makes it easy to get around. The crew was very friendly and the food fantastic. Have no desire to ever travel on a large ship again!

From the time we checked in to the time we left the ship I felt that the crew was doing everything possible to make our cruise as hassle free as possible. We never had to wait in a long line. Service was not only excellent - it was prompt. The entire ship was a model of cleanliness. Our cabin was spotless. Our stemware in the dining room sparkled. The common areas onboard were always neat and clean. Getting on and off the ship in port was always easy. Tenders to shore were frequent. Tours arranged by the ship were always a bargain. Food onboard was excellent. Servers remembered our names throughout the cruise. They even remembered our favorite drinks! They seemed to take a personal interest in making sure we had a great vacation. I can't wait to go again.

the ship had all the amenities without the crowds. could always find a quiet space to watch the sunset or a table at which to have a meal. Very clean. Nice to be able to go to smaller ports and avoid the large cruise ships

I loved this ship and it’s ability to get into small ports. Having only 360 maximum passengers creates an easy and relaxed environment. The food and crew are outstanding! The kindness and consideration shown to passengers is beyond any cruise line floating!

The inclusion of shoes excursions is a great plus. This is a great small boat with excellent amenities and a friendly crew! Also enjoyed the open bridge!

Not typical of any other cruise line. Much more intimate & cozy. Pool is size of a Hot tub. This is a cruise where everyone onboard gets to know you, Staff included. Days at Sea can be rough as not much to do, but overall Lovely!

195 passengers 14 days at sea, perfect service and food, what more could you want? Weather was great for 10 of these days too. Last two days were rough, but this is the Atlantic Ocean after all.

Enjoyed the cruise, would do the same cruise over again.

My first Wind Star cruise but they do everything I like when on a cruise ship and with so few people it was never crowded and I did not have to plan to avoid a crowd at any time. You spend much more time in port and sail at night so really get to experience the "real" caribbean. I had no complaints about the ship or the cruise experience and can't wait to experience another one soon.

We had a nice time! Everyone very friendly and accommodating. It’s a nice way to see many places and possibly at some point return to visit them for a longer period of time. Our room was nice and the best part was we had to separate bathrooms.

Overall, not a good itinerary for this ship. We should have sailed directly from Dubin to Porto and stayed in Portugal for a week. Seas were rough, but not terribly bad. Lots of bad weather and rain. I would choose a different cruise ship to travel in this area again.

The superb treatment by the whole crew and the itinerary.  Great beautiful ship.  All 3 resturants great.      Best weather one could have, 75 degrees , clear skies and no rain.

This was a beautiful ship, with some of the best food (duck breast, rack of lamb) we have ever tasted, with great service personnel, stopping at great ports of call.   We had sailed on the Windstar many years ago, and we were happy to see that the company has only increased its excellent service.  From the man who cared for our cabin, to the reception desk and waiters, and especially the IT person (Santiago), the whole experience could not have been better.  Even the weather, to a large degree, cooperated.
