This cruise was boring with no quality night time entertainment and the the ports and excursions were not interesting. The cruise ship is old and food was average. I thought there were more than 1 specialty restaurants. In fact, the cruise has only 1 cafeteria and 1 restaurants. The cruise ship changed Pinnacle Grill into 3 different restaurants on different nights. They also changed Lido their cafeteria every night to Cannaletto Italian restaurant. The foid were not Italian at all! All the restaurants have similar foid, primarily steaks. I prefer going to Europe after taking 2 se asia cruises.
Embarkation
3 out of 5
Very unorganized and confusing
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Mediocre dining rooms, best Cellar Special dining, average specialty restaurants and buffets had the same items every day and average
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Very good enrichment programs
Entertainment
1 out of 5
Worst in comparing to other cruise ships. No shows, mainly singing and piano performance, a few dancers that were unprofessional and costumes were ugly, no special effects or stage settings, and outdated sound effects!
Children's Programs
No young children
Service and Staff
3 out of 5
Excellent steward at room, waiters are friendly except at the Canaletto restaurant female waiter was impolite and lazy. She was rarely at the table but disappeared that was hard to find. All restaurants took 3 hrs to eat. Services were extremely slow!
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Outdated design. Some of the rest rooms and public areas showed wear and looked dirty
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Very good and reasonable space layout except shower was extremely small and no turning space. Tub was unnecessary! Who wants to sit in in a public tub!
Ship tip
Provide evening shows at least a few times through out the cruise. It was boring at night with no entertainment. We walked out of the performances after watching for a few minutes because they were so bad!
Port was old with only ware houses around the cruise port. Theclunch was horrible and portion was small. We had to share foid at a big round table which was undesirable. One customer put her fingers in the sauces One of the dish supposed ti be seafood ended up with pork a a few pieces of octopus. I questioned the dish and was told a new chef too nervous, felt and broke his elbow. What had that to do with the ingredients? All the dishes were in pork!
It was filthy and dangerous according to my friends who visited before. My brother went onshore but said the streets stinked and there were poops on the streets next to the pier
