Bad Experience

Sail Date: December 10, 2010

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship itself was nice. Easy to get around. Prices in the ships stores were very expensive. They put a hold on your credit card so that it can only be used on the boat for any purchases. Take another form of card to use on land.

Pros: Entertainment

Cons: To many to mention

Recommends Westerdam? No.

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Nothing was buffet service like other ships that we have been on. Portions were very small. You had to beg the servers to give big portions of food.
Cabin / Stateroom
Service and Staff
The entertainment was top notch. Excellent cruise director.
Grand Turk Island
Very small shopping area.
Philipsburg, St. Maarten
Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)
If a person is not into water or beaches, it is a waste of time to go ashore.
San Juan, Puerto Rico
Old San Juan is a must see with their narrow streets and shopping.
