On a scale of 1-10. I'd rate this ship maybe a 5 at best. If you choose to cruise with royal definitely choose a newer ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food was decent. Alittle bland but plenty of options. Seating tended to be crowded in the buffets.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
The pool is tiny, the smoking area is right next to the pool as well which makes no sense for the kiddos trying to swim.

Children's Programs

Ship tip

If you like to swim then avoid this ship. The pool is tiny and very crowded.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

It might be nice if it wasn't so crowded. There were 4 different ships at Port visiting at the same time.

Cozumel, Mexico

Excellent. Beware of the taxi prices. They wanted $135 to drive about 40 mins. You have better luck going out on the main street and trying to negotiate with a taxi driver you wave down.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Smooth and quick
