Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was amazing, especially in the formal dining. This was our first RC cruise and I feel like there were fewer "free" or "included" food options at odd times of day (outside of breakfast, lunch or dinner times) but the pizza and sandwich bar were open most of the time. But the servers at all of the food areas were top notch, better than any cruise we have ever been on. My father, who traveled with us is handicap and he was waited on and catered to better than I could have ever hoped!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Lots of things to do for all ages, from swimming pool/hot tub, to rock climbing and wave pool! Even lots of walking areas to just walk around.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
For a smaller ship I was very impressed with the entertainment, there was something every single day, ice skating show, musical, comedian and even a ventriloquist! Live music every day was wonderful as well!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
wow, just wow! I have been on almost a dozen cruises and I have to say that the staff on this cruise was my favorite by far! We were traveling with my elderly father who is wheelchair bound and they treated him like royalty, made him and us feel very special!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was an older ship so I was concerned about this but the ship was actually very clean and nicely decorated.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabin was very clean, our room steward took amazing care of us. The bathroom looked slightly dated compared to newer ships but was extremely clean and well maintained. The mattress was a little too firm for me but we requested a mattress topper and we slept much better after that.

Ship tip

Sign up for as much as possible before you sail or your first day, as things booked up quickly.

Ports of call

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

5 out of 5
Port was nice, but very crowded.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
Cozumel is one of our favorite places to visit, beautiful beaches, great shopping and most of the people there are very friendly, accommodating and speak English so conversing is easy.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Ok, so this is ALWAYS my least favorite part because it's usually chaos. However, this was the smoothest experience on a cruise, RC has improved this to the point of not so dreaded!
