Review summary

With the exception of the food, I loved this cruise and would do it again. My humble opinion is that from MY experience, the food is much better on all the other major cruise lines. That’s MY opinion and the food is about 50% of the reason I love to cruise. Other than that, Voyager and her crew are great!

I wish Royal would get it together with their food. Always average at best. Food selection and quality(especially included)is really lacking. Bars, bartenders, and drinks were five stars!

Not much to say here. The staff are always Royal’s best asset.

I really like the layout of this class. I especially love the Viking Crown and having access to the bow/helipad.

Cabin / Stateroom

We really like the promenade view insides. I like the people watching and the cabins have great sound proofing. The bed was more comfortable for me than usual. I didn’t need to ask for more padding. The shower head was a blaster! I loved it especially after the weak stream I always get on the Oasis class.

Ship tip

Enjoy the food in the ports you visit! It wasn’t all bad obviously, but come on Royal!

I forgot after submitting the review to mention the one thing worse than the food. The VOOM wifi. Atrocious. The worst ever. Basically unusable 90% of the time. I’m thinking about contacting Royal for a refund. I’m not paying for it again until they have that new system in place.
