Review summary

The cruise and ports were overbooked. During hurricane Fiona the ship wouldn't let you connect with your loved ones at home to let them know you were okay unless you paid them. The ship make no effort to make up for missing agendas by adding activities, giving freebies or adding entertainment. They just did nothing. The ships captain cannot speak english well and 95% of the people on this ship are from the US. Couldn't understand the announcements. We had no connectivity during the hurricane and no announcements from the bridge so we had no idea what was going on. Everyone we spoke with felt that this cruise was a total disaster. Royal Caribbean should make it up to its passengers.

Portland, Maine

3 out of 5
Interesting town with a good history.

Saint John, New Brunswick

2 out of 5
Our ship was docked far away from the prime dock so we missed our tour and had to walk around town.

Sydney, Nova Scotia

2 out of 5
Not much to do unless you have an excursion and they were all booked up.

Bar Harbor, Maine Did not visit port

Hurricane Fiona kept us from visiting. The ship made no efforts to make up for this.

Disembarkation

Don't let them take your bags down for you and you can get off the ship in a timely manner.

Sounds like sailing may not be the best use of a vacation for them.
