Voyager of the Seas

14 Night Asia Repositioning Northbound (Sydney To Singapore)

Sail date: April 19, 2017

Ship: Voyager of the Seas

Cabin type: Suite

Cabin number: 9568

Traveled as: Large Group

Reviewed: 7 years ago

Review summary

The ship is in desperate need of refurbishment. Many of the common areas showed excessive wear and tear. Many of the exercise machines in the spa had minor problems, were missing parts or showed excessive wear.

The push to buy premium dining packages was relentless, to the point of being obnoxious.

The high speed internet onboard was very slow most days, not much faster than 2G cell service.

Lots of space. Walk-in closet was a very nice feature.

Ship tip

Wait until the ship comes back from refurbishment. It's physically in rough shape.

We are going on her 15th feb ( went on explorer this year) and was wondering we are buying the non alcohol drink before we go and will probley be looking at upgrading to the alcohol package when we get on has anyone done this if so how much did they charge? We did it in explorer and paid $10 a day extra for the alcohol package so wanting to know if it's the same

Why where is she going

I've been on Voyager twice the last cruise being January 17. Maybe your expectations were to high. We loved the ship and are sorry to see her go.
