Review summary

My wife and I have sailed twice with the royal Caribbean and were looking forard to this adventure to our scheduled ports. I say rags to riches due to the first evening of our cruise. All was well until dinner. Service was slow, food was cold and we seemed to be ignored by our servers. Once we optained their attention, this is where we went to riches, They didn't stop pampering us the rest of the cruise. On board service in all areas, including the staff that helped us prepare our excursions went way beyond any service we ever had. The recommended excursions were perfect for our needs and we accomplished everything we wanted to do. Weather was not a factor for our travel and we enjoyed evrything we involved ourselfs in. From show entertainment, cascino, dinning and just meeting other passengers who had no issues conversing with us. Bingo was a hoot, even though we didn't win, the announcer just made the whole event enjoyable. Now as the trip came to an end, we headed into a cold front that made the last evening seas a bit rough. But as head strong troopers, the morning greeted us with sunshine and smiling faces on all cruise members up until leaving the ship. No problem booking another cruise ASAP.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Other than the first bad day experience, I found the crew out did themselves with service and food preperation to meet our request. I know we put on ???? lbs

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Great shows, most involved the audiance that made the entertainment even greater. Enjoyed all we attended

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All I can say is excellent, all around

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
On this cruise we found ourselves on a lower deck that placed us in a location on the ship that was perfect for us. Access to the elevators was close and moving from deck to deck we found ourselves being where we intended without wandering around. Knowing this location that suits us, our next cruise will put us on a higher deck.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Upon entering our stateroom, I comment that the room seemed smaller than what we were use to. Our serviceman said nothing until we returned to our room after dinner and found he had removed a table and adjust some furniture to allow moving around more comfortable. He did an outstanding job just by listening to our comments and made the proper adjustmens.
