Review summary

Ship in decent shape. Our room was in need of serious plumbing fix with shower water pressure and temp. Was disappointed with the casino closures on day 1 and day 8 (cruise days) and no postings, esp for day 8. Did not like only having an early show on day 1 and day 8 either with eating at 7pm. Not normally handled this way. MDR was very good, but seems like the Windjammer has reduced selections and variety.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
MDR was really good, Windjammer Buffet was disappointing, can tell RC is reducing variety, cost savings??

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
The free exercise classes seem to be gone now.

Entertainment

2 out of 5
We eat at 7pm, no show on day 1 after 7:30pm and day 8. Just if you eat early can you attend these shows. Normally we have seen them at 9pm for all to attend. Bad planning...

Children's Programs

No children

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
MDR was excellent!! Room steward was OK.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Not too bad for an old lady.

Cabin / Stateroom

2 out of 5
Size was excellent, junior suite. Huge balcony!! But terrible water pressure and luke warm water in the shower for the entire cruise. RC tried to fix it, but could not. Needs major repair when it goes into dry dock next month they said.

Ship tip

From the port, be aware of casino closures due to being in the bay.

Not interested and looked like just some thrown together shops at the the pier

Nassau, Bahamas

Have done an excellent job of making the pier easily reached with alot of shops. Can access the market with endless local shops too. Huge!

A cruise with Charleston as a port. That is wonderful! I agree that the buffet selection has decreased in the past few years.
