This was our first cruise since the pandemic, so we opted for a smaller ship with less people and leaving from a port within driving distance. We knew that this was a smaller and older ship, and we adjusted our expectations accordingly. With that considered, we didn't let the little issues bother us, so we had a good time and would cruise again on this ship again.
Embarkation

Embarkation and disembarkation were both superb!
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Breakfast and Lunch in The Windjammer was wonderful, love that the wait staff could bring us coffee and orange juice. However, the food in the main dining room was very hit or miss. They claim to have NY strip steak. It isn't. It was so thin you could almost see through it. The desserts were very disappointing. None of them were worth the calories.

Entertainment

The shows were okay.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The staff were very helpful, very attentive, and clearly giving it their all. The cabin was clean, and our attendant (Elizabeth) was awesome. Best room attendant I have ever had on 9 cruises. Our waiters in the main dining room (Raymond and Ross”s) get a “10”, they were wonderful. Breakfast in The Windjammer was wonderful, love that the wait staff could bring us coffee and orange juice.
Ship Quality

Very Good!
Cabin / Stateroom
2 out of 5
My biggest issue though, was no heat in our cabin for the first 5 days of the cruise. Two different repairmen came in, played with the thermostat, and said the problem was fixed. But the room remained ice cold. The third repairman fixed the issue by removing ceiling panels and repaired the heat exchanger.
Because of the Gigantic Delay in repairing the heat in our cabin, I can only give an overall rating of 2 instead of the 5 that I would have preferred to give.
