Review summary

By not fault of the dining experience for the first 2 days was a nightmare. We had let know we were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary which noted on our account. Since we had to have 2 different rooms as there were 5 of us we asked to be placed a same seating for dining same table. had noted on our account for that. We get on ship and according the royal Caribbean app we had the same table. We get to our rooms and get keys only to find out we have 2 different deck floors for dining 2 different tables. We went immediately to the restaurant to get it fixed 3 hours before dinner only to be told to come back at dinning time. Then we were sent back and fourth between 2 different floors with a long line to try and fix. We ended up having to sit apart our first night because they said there was nothing they could do try back tomorrow . We go back the next day and get the same thing. The people dining at my husband and boys table only wanted a table of 3 to themselves so we ended up getting the problem switched as they went to get there table fixed. We complained to guest services and they said pretty much the same thing nothing they could do. They offered us champagne which we said we dont drink so they offered chocolate covered strawberries. It took 2 days for that to come. We went down and ask where that was and they said they sent which we never got. Finally when we did get them it included champagne which we said not to send. The dining manger said this happens all the time with dining . Our reservations were linked so we should not have had a issue. We called royal Caribbean a couple days after we got home and took 2 hours of being on the phone only to find out that someone on royal Caribbean he said " I wondered why on board chef changed the seating arrangements ". This came from the escalations manger . He saw our resevations that we were at the same table and linked. On another note there was a thing in the compass that said if you were celebrating a anniversary go to port shopping desk and get a free gift. We get we were 6th in line only to find out he is taking people for shore excursions to o when shore excursions desk was closed according to the compass . 45 minutes later was our turn he told we had to a effy store in Nassau to get our gift. Bait and switch. We made it to emerald status and we did not have our pins and we had to go ask. Beds were supposed to be separated as we requested and bunks down. Had to go to guest service to fix. Bermuda was great never been there. Loved Cocoa Cay and the food was great. The zumba with Mey was great way to work off calories. Suellen our assistant waiter in dining room was wonderful.
