Review summary

A wonderful cruise with a great itinerary. Would do this cruise again. The Vision of the Seas is a wonderful ship.

Embarkation

Because the ship had to dock very far away from terminal, no fault of RCI , the boarding process was much more difficult than usual. Had a 30 min shuttle from Terminal A to the ship.

Food and Dining

Specialty restaurants, as usual, are wonderful. Main dining room seemed to have the same old things and some entrees simply just were not that good. Service was always great.

Onboard Activities

The pool deck on Vision is always a good experience. The fitness center, although small, is adequate for me and I used the fitness room 4-5 times a week.

Entertainment

Wonderful shows and entertainment in the Masquerade Theatre. The entertainment in other venues, eg, Schooner Bar and Centrum were always good.

Service and Staff

All employees who we encountered were friendly, helpful and courteous. Our cabin attendant was really great.

Ship Quality

The ship design and cleanliness were very good. It is a dated ship, as it is nearly 25 years old, but that aside, it is a clean and fun ship.
