Took my daughter for her 16th birthday and we had a blast. This was her first cruise and she is now a big fan of cruising. We got involved in things that we could share and spend time doing together.

Onboard Activities

Sailed with my 16 year old daughter and we tried to participate in as much as time would allow. Main activity was the Thriller dance with the Cruise Director Steve who is amazing at his job! Also, some of the other dance and fitness events, game shows and all nightly shows in the theater. We took the first place award for solving the Royal Mystery game, as well!

The performances were all fabulous. We did the meet and greet with some of the production staff and performers who were so informative and happy to answer all questions with details and explanations. Love the juggler and comedian too!

Overall a 5 star staff. Terence was a fantastic room steward who we lovingly nicknamed Mr. T!
The pool bartenders could lighten up some and be a little more helpful and friendlier. I watched several times and pretty much all of them never smiled or went "overboard" to try and help the guests. We asked the first day and were initially told my 16 year old daughter could sit by the bar if accompanied by a parent, then rudely told a few days later that we had to leave because she was underage. I had purchased a coconut drink and the bartender there filled it so much and it was so strong I went over to the bar and was trying to add ice and some lemonade to dilute it. The drink overflowed on the bar a little and the bartender told us to get away from the bar area because she was underage. Need to clarify the rules with all the bartenders so they are up to date on policy. I mentioned this to one of the ship managers who was going to address this.
Ship Quality

Everything looked clean and well maintained. Ship however is quite old but holding up well.
Cabin / Stateroom

Everything was perfect in our cabin. We had not complaints with the cabin or our cabin steward, Terence, who was always friendly and helpful. He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and our cabin was in order.
Ship tip
We did not have the set dining time so we had a variety of people around us during dining which was nice but we did not make any great connections with people. If possible I would recommend the dining time if you like getting to know people better.
We shopped in Nassau the first day and kayaked at a nearby beach. The following day we visited Atlantis and Dolphin Cay and had a wonderful day! Water slides and river were so much fun.
