Review summary

For some reason the cruise ship takes you to a terrible area of Roatan.  We were under the  impression that there was nothing worth seeing there until we saw House Hunters and saw that there were beautiful resorts and nice areas.  All we saw were slums.  In Belize it was pretty much the same story.  There was not much to see but when a trip was given away to Belize on Wheel of Fotune, it was beautiful.  I feel like we missed seeing anything worthwhile and don't understand why the cruise ship would go to the areas it does.  This was our 9th cruise and we were not happy with the areas we saw.

Ship tip

We took tours of each place we stopped. Roatan and Belize were not good experiences. For some reason the ship stopped in the slum areas at both places. Mexico was very nice.
