Review summary

Very impressed.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food excellent BUT, we were very disappointed jeans were allowed in the dining room on formal nights. I, along with others, spent a considerable amount of money bringing tuxedos and suits only to be seated next to slobs wearing jeans. We would not take this cruise again unless a dress code is enforced. Also a beer package would be nice.

Entertainment

Nice variety but nothing to brag about.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Outstanding to say the least.

Ship Quality

Ports of call

Gdynia (Gdansk), Poland

The Stepphof concentration camp was very moving and depressing to say the least.
Don't Miss: Stepphof

Helsinki, Finland

We just enjoyed walking around and having lunch. Also liked the Lutheran Cathedral.

Riga, Latvia

We enjoyed walking around this quaint city and having lunch. Also enjoyed an organ recital at the large cathedral. Love shopping for amber also.

Visby, Sweden

Lovely stop. We enjoyed walking around and having lunch.

St. Petersburg, Russian Federation

The hermitage was impressive but way too crowded and hot. Our guide kept losing some of our group because she walked too fast for some of the older people and she failed to keep our group number sign up. Very frustrating.
Don't Miss: The ballet was extremely enjoyable.

Pros: Friendliness and service.

Cons: The wearing of jeans in the dining room on formal nights and the lack of a beer package.
