Review summary
The ship was beautifully decorated and service was Excellent. They try really hard to get you to shop, onboard and at the ports. They also push the excursions. Although they offer good options, there are choices available on the dock in Juneau and a short walk up the street in Skagway for a small savings. There is a tram in Juneau that's inexpensive and really fun. It takes you up the mountain in 5 minutes to a great museum, gift store and very nice walking trails. They said there wasn't any shopping in Port Rupert but that's not true. It's a cute village with lots of shops. We rented shooters for 2 hours ($49 each) and had a blast. Casual dining choices were not very impressive and Smoking ruins the casino. If you're bringing a teenage, make sure they have their own forms of entertainment because they will get very bored!Ship experiences
