You learn a lot of history on this cruise if you attend the Port talks and the Historical Lectures. Great cruise with many interesting and informative tours.

Review summary

This was a great cruise to give you a overview of the many ports that you visit. There is not enough time at each port to take more then one tour. This is a great way to explore and plan future trips to see an area like Athens at a future time.

Viking boarding process was very smooth and efficient despite the fact that their internet connection was not working well.

Restaurant were very good and menu's gave you a great selection of dishes. Bars service was good. The reason for only a four star rating were two: first, premium liquors such as Makers Mark, Crown Royal were not available. They were advertised on their Silver Package . Second, the Chef's table fixed menu was too limiting for a first class restaurant. we cancelled our second booking at it.

Small pool but nice pool area for relaxing. Fitness are was very good with excellent equipment.

Entertainment

Main booked entertainer did not show up for two shows out of three. They used one of there backup group to back him up.

Service and Staff

Viking staff did a excellent job everywhere. THey all smiled and greeted you with a smile. If you needed help, they address the issue.
