Great boat, terrible itinerary

Sail Date: June 08, 2015

Of the 7 days, three were good. Normandy, Giverney, and the day of Lourve and Versalles. The other 4 days were pretty boring. Ship is good, crew is outstanding but I would not recommend the itinerary.

We got a last minute email from Viking telling us that the embarkation point was not in Paris as advertised but in LePecq, 35 miles outside of Paris. Turns out, according to some of the crew, they've been using LePecq for months. If it wasn't for the fact that we did the 3 night Paris extension we wouldn't have had a chance to see Paris at all.
