A very lovely experience. Viking took care of all our needs and was very well organized.

Loved. Loved. Loved this cruise. It was our 2nd cruise and we bought another certificate to cruise with Viking again. It was amazing how they took our large group of 10 and treated us like we were the only ones on the ship. It was so personal and loved all the Croatians on the ship.

The overall experience was wonderful. The cabin was smaller than expected, but comfortable. The ship's staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. The food was excellent.

I enjoyed the small number of passengers and the personalized service from this crew. Ship has no significant bells and whistles but does not need any since the ports are the main emphasis of this cruise. Rooms were good and the food was good.

This was our first time on a river cruise.  We have sailed on sea cruises many times.  This is by far the best cruise we have ever taken.  The Viking people at all levels go great lengths to make sure that you have a great experience.  We highly recommend this cruise and Viking in particular.

The ship is new and appears to have no faults. The top sundeck was extremely nice.

I loved the trip and how well all my days were great. Met some wonderful people. It was great that time was set aside for a cocktail pre-dinner and entertainment post-dinner.

Great food, helpful crew, well kept ship. My only suggestion is to hand out up to date city maps. I  like to use trams, trolleys, and subways to see cities. several did no have the latest public transits, so be sure to get the latest on the Internet or major transmit hubs. 

Even though Prestige was built in 2012 and is not one of the newer designs,,,we liked it. Plenty of room and lots of places to sit and read,view, chat, or drink!

Excellent cruise with gourmet food and top notch service. Everything was excellent from the service to the tours and guides and bus drivers. Viking has this down cold. I most definitely recommend this tour. We added three nights in Paris on the front and three nights in Prague on the end.

p This was our first River Cruise and i don#39;t think it will be the last!!!! What a charming way to enjoy a relaxing cruise..... ! The Viking Prestige was a beautiful ship..... up-to-date in every way.... I had full internet connections everywhere except when we were down in the deepest locks. The food was great..... selections were very varied and everyone should have been satisfied! Ports of call were nicely done with the included tours... seeveral times we went out on our own just to be able to prowl the side streets and sample the local fare. Our room was very spacious and had lots of storage... our attendant was awesome and kept everything very pristine! The scenery was beyond description - the main reason we chose this trip - and we were not disappointed!! We loved everything.... Viking did a fine job and we would not hesitate to book with them again!!!

Viking has just pulled the biggest gaffe of any cruise line we have ever used. We booked a river cruise from Budapest to Amsterdam 10 months ago. We also booked our airline through them (and paid a $300 premium to arrive one day early with preferred selection for our air travel). Our airline seat assignments were arranged. Five months ago, the airline switched to a larger plane. Viking did not tell us or our travel agent of the plane and seat changes....and we did not find out about them until after we received our final packet of information from Viking. The package showed the seat assignments we had selected for the return flight, but no seat assignments shown for the departing flight, probably because they were embarrassed about how miserable they were. We have been given the WORST POSSIBLE seat assignments. For our long flight to Europe, the four members of our party have been given the MIDDLE SEAT in FOUR DIFFERENT ROWS. We are now told it is too late to change our seat assignments. Why were we and our travel agent not informed of this change? Who in the world decided to split up a party of four who had originally been sitting together? Shouldn't some effort have been made to keep a party, who booked 10 months in advance and had originally been assigned adjoining seats, together again on the second, larger plane which has many more desirable seats? We are VERY UNHAPPY...both with our seat assignments and with Viking's unwillingness to deal with THEIR mistake. This was supposed to be such a special trip for us, one we had looked forward to for several years. Our first (and last) Viking trip has not even begun and we are already disappointed.
