Review summary

This was the cruise of a life time for us and I would say the only downside would be the quality of internet available. When you are gone for an extended period of time you have to be able to pay bills at home and this was difficult due to lack of signal or it falling on its face just when you needed it the most. But that being said still better than when I actually paid for it!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Easy and uneventful just how I like it!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
the food is the best I have ever had on any cruise line, even the food on the excursions when lunch was included.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
the pool thru out the ship where on crowded because there weren't a bunch of kids on board. Even the spa areas were included with your cruise unlike many others.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
we had a diverse type of entertainment, including comedians, magic, flutist, harmonica, pianist and list goes on the on, it was wonderful!! Did I mention the lectures on the regions we went to. It was all worth while and if you missed a lecture you could go to the tv and watch it later.

Children's Programs

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The people that Viking has employed are very happy and that tells me they are treated well and well paid. We really didn't encounter anyone with an attitude or slackers. It was nice interacting with the staff and many became friends. Huggable Friends!!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship maintained a cleanliness level that impressed me, as well as when there was an outbreak of illness everyone was notified and all buffet style serving was suspended so it was nipped in the bud. Then when it was lifted we were also notified, liked the communication levels happening on the ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The bed was heaven, I have never slept so well! The room and balcony were regularly cleaned

Ship tip

book your specialty restaurants as soon as you are on board, they fill up fast.
