Review summary

Ship, food & entertainment were mostly okay but nothing great. Some mixups with them changing times we had selected for tours without informing us but were accomodating with changes. Also found one included excursion in each port to be rather cheapo considering cruise overall price. Don't really think I will be booking with Viking again.

Ship tip

Try to get an itinerary that does not include many sea days. Unless you really enjoy being at sea the activities available are not that engaging.

This was changed to Paamiut by cruise line before we left. Extremely small town. Waste of time visit as far as I am concerned.

Also changed by cruise line to cruising Prince Christian Sound. Again waste of time - more time at sea. Saw absolutely no wildlife as we cruised through.

Did Waterfall of the Gods tour - was very nice but optional. Was not able to combine with included tour - but was able to walk around town on my own after.

I absolutely loved this itinerary. It can be frustrating when ports and excursions are changed but I’ve always found Viking to be very generous compensating if things really go south. I’ve gone with other cruise lines and always find myself comparing them to Viking. No one can top them, in my opinion.
