We thoroughly enjoyed this cruise. We would have liked some local talent onboard and some better menu selections, but overall it was great. I would like to see better descriptions of the degree of difficulty of some of the optional tours I would not have paid for the market tour for my husband had I know the amount of walking involved.
Embarkation

Love being met by crew mwmbers at the airport!
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Some of the meals were unusual. We expected more of the German cuisine we have had in the past like various types of schnitzel and spatzle. The food was better on the Viking cruise in France
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Glass blowing demo was wonderful! We also loved the apple strudel demo.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
We would have enjoyed seeing a few local musicians from Germany, Austria and Hungary.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Our servers, Pavel and Adam were excellent. They were helpful with suggestions as well as providing great service. Our wine Steward, Vinnie, was also great. All 3 of these men were friendly and funny. We also appreciated Adam from the lounge and Aquavit for his service, friendliness and constant smile! Marketa was delightful She was frequently available to help with any questions or concerns that we had. She was always smiling and helpful
Ship Quality

Everything was clean and polished
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Our cabin was small but adequate. There was enough storage to keep everything neat. We were only in the cabin to sleep and change clothes so it was fine. The shower is a bit small and my husband bumped his arm with every shower he took. The bed was comfortable.
Ship tip
Only take the clothes you need. Too many outfits will get in your way. Most things can be warn at least twice.
Loved this town We enjoyed the information our guide provided. We would have like better information about the meeting point before we left for the tour.
We enjoyed the overview and the time in the old beer cellar where the art was stored during WWII was interesting. the Hauptmarkt square was a good place for purchasing a couple of souvenirs and enjoying a cafe and the glockenspiel.
Passau was interesting and it was nice to enjoy an organ concert. One of our favorite tours was Schärding. Our tour guide, Ava, was so much fun We also enjoyed the views from the old salt boat as well as the beer and pretzel.
We took the wine tasting tour to the Wachau valley. Our guide Trinka was delightful and funny. The wine was wonderful. This was one of our favorite tours
Vienna is a beautiful city. I enjoyed taking the Nausmarkt tour especially the food tasting and the ride on the metro. Unfortunately my husband was unable to go because the walk to the metro was too much for him I wish we had known this before we payed for the tour!
